As part of the Catalina Island Conservancy’s work in the new Fox Hollow area of the Wrigley Memorial & Botanic Garden, I redesigned a series of interpretive, educational, and identification signs to create a more engaging and cohesive experience for visitors. The goal was to make information feel approachable and connected to the landscape—guiding visitors through the garden while inviting them to pause, look closer, and learn more about the plants and place around them.
Through typography, layout, and visual hierarchy, the signage balances clarity with the character of the garden, creating moments of discovery along the visitor journey.
